In the same location within WUL-3 as in yesterday’s post, Dr. Gabriella Koltai, a researcher from the University of Innsbruck in Austria, collects ice samples from a frozen wall surrounding the island of exposed rocks shown in yesterday’s photograph. This sampling effort was a key component of our interdisciplinary research side project conducted during our time in Wulff Land. Gina was determined to maximise the research output of the expedition.
