Meghalaya is home to so many spectacular caves, which are continuously being eroded and sculpted by rainwater. And there’s a lot of it, as the state is one of the rainiest places on Earth. In the Monsoon season, this dry river bed (pictured) will become a ferocious raging torrent of water, Thankfully, during our visit last month, it was dry. It is part of the trail leading down to Krem (cave) Um Ladaw - Home to the newly discovered largest cave fish.
